Academic Excellence and Achievement Every Scholar, Every Class, Every Day!
Back to School Night Codes will be shared via Dojo.
Tips to Help Our Mighty Bulldogs Succeed During Distance Learning
- Prepare a learning space for our students--free of distractions.
- Support scholars logging in to Google Classroom, but provide them the space to work independently as they would in the regular classroom (make sure you are not visible in the camera and do not disrupt the lesson). Our educators are here to develop their growth and watch them shine.
- It's ok for students to not know answers and have questions. They should raise their hand and ask questions.
- Issues with Live Sessions, please call the main office (301-372-0100).
- If you have questions/concerns, please email or Dojo the teacher; our educators will respond via email/Dojo within 24-48 hours.
WE ARE ASSESSMENT READY!
Thank you to Mrs. Collins (Testing Coordinator) and Mrs. Grant (Alt. Testing Coordinator) for hosting our first Parent Testing Session last week and to all who were able to make it. As we know, the start of the school year includes diagnostic assessments that help to provide our educators insight on our students academics strengths and areas of development. If you missed the session and would like to review the presentation, please click here. We thank you in advance for ensuring your scholar is prepared to do his/her best on the test. REMEMBER, no helping...teachers need to be able to see exactly where our scholars are so that they can best support them.

Distance Learning Handbook
The purpose of this handbook is to compile, in one place, the policies, procedures and forms that will enable Brandywine Elementary scholars to successfully fulfill his/her responsibilities during Virtual Learning. It has been prepared with the sincere hope that it will be used as a ready reference by families with concerns related to classroom procedures, administration policies and organization norms.
Suggestions on how to become better acquainted with your scholar(s), how to learn about school routines and procedures, and how to secure professional help are included.
The adopted policies are subject to modification, as situations require. The need may arise for revision of this handbook. Feel free to offer suggestions. It is only through cooperative efforts of everyone concerned that we hope to create a wholesome atmosphere/environment for all.
