The Weekly Dish
Volume XXXVIIII
Message From Principal Danzy:
Greetings Vista Grande Family,
Thanksgiving was a time well spent with framily and family. We made a most delicious meal, and it would take some time for me to describe the joy and taste of said meal. With that being said our two-week break is quickly approaching and students, teachers, and administrators are frantically doing all of our best to get the end of semester things completed. Please take time to take a deep breath and know that we are all in this together. Please do not overstress and please feel free to ask for help when and if needed.
Student highlight: Yerlin Castro and our students who posted perfect scores on our Mastery Checks
Ms. Castro put together and let me present her Social Studies project. She did a most fantastic job with adding the missing information that I left out. Great Job young lady!!

Final Exams and Assignments Please be informed that our last days of the semester are December 15 and 16. Please be advised that student attendance is expected on these days. These days are critical days of the semester for final exams and/or final projects/presentations. The bell schedule for these days can be found here. https://www.cguhsd.org/Downloads/CG-BellSchedules-20220722.pdf Absences on these dates could significantly impact a student’s grades for the semester. Please plan now to ensure that your student will be present on these important final days for the semester.
Vista Grande High School is currently in the process of purchasing and installing pull down gates to be installed on the entrance/exits of our restrooms. We have implemented a schedule rotation of our security team to ensure that we have coverage for the restrooms to ensure the safety of our students. We appreciate the patience and understanding as we continue to get better with these processes.
