World at War (again) and a War of Words
In Module Six, you will learn about how dictators started a worldwide war in Europe, Asia, and Africa that eventually forced the United States to join and fight on two fronts.
You will also learn how the victory for the United States and the Allies leads to an uneasy peace that eventually becomes a war of words, the Cold War. Look for themes during the end of the war that will become big issues during the cold war.
In Assignments 1 and 3 you will take a graded quizs. Be sure your study the notes to be successful on this quiz.
Assignment 2- For this assignment you identify people or events from WWII an then list their historical signmificance. I have a attached a chart that shows a timeline of events of American Involvement in WWII and a brief video clip that will give a great overview of WWII.

About Ms. Davis
I am veteran teacher with 24 years of teaching experience in North Carolina. My experience has spanned grades from kindergarten to grade 12 and I LOVE teaching high school! I am certified in Social Studies, grades 9-12, English Language Arts 6-12, and Media/Information Science K-12. I earned my bachelor's and master's from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I earned National Board's Certification in 2007 and renewed in 2016.
My hobbies include traveling, sewing and spending time with my two children, Steven and Jacob and my cat Sally Mae. I also enjoy dabbling in graphic design.
