Principal's Message
Good evening,
WELL DONE! We've completed three days of "Go Live" sessions, and one day of Google Classroom activities! Despite password issues and connectivity issues, it was evident that our students and staff were excited to be back, even in a remote capacity. We are still trying to iron out some kinks but we will all get into the groove of our new norm soon...
Just as this is new to all students, this is new to all staff as well. Can you imagine teaching remotely?...it's like the first year of teaching all over again for many staff members...everywhere! So, in my opinion, I think everyone has done a phenomenal job with this first week. Remember, serving the needs of your children is the primary importance of our staff. We are all doing the best we can right now...so I do ask you for some grace, patience, and flexibility as we all navigate this new process together.
We've received some positive feedback regarding the first few days, as stressful as it was...thank you so much for sharing!
Please reach out with any questions...we hope you are all doing well!
Go Mavericks!

Hey Mavericks!
Mrs. Tysiak and Mrs. Clausen here. For those of you who don't know, we are the directors of the Fall Play and the Spring Musical. We have some ideas on how to make a virtual fall play happen! If you are interested in more information about this, please join the Murphy Drama Google Classroom using code: rwcjien. Mrs. Tysiak and Mrs. Clausen will post information there as it is determined and available. This Google Classroom is for anyone who wants more information, it is okay if you join and then decide you don't want to be a part of it. If you have any questions, reach out to Mrs. Tysiak (mtysiak@sd308.org) or Mrs. Clausen (lclausen@sd308.org). We are looking forward to making some theater happen, even if it is virtual!
