Class of 2021 Graduation Update
Argyle High School's graduation for the Class of 2021 is currently scheduled for Tuesday, May 18 at 8 p.m. at Eagle Stadium.
We are closely monitoring forecasts for Tuesday which are indicating a strong possibility of rain and thunderstorms for most of the day and night. Argyle ISD is currently exploring indoor venue options for graduation if needed. The district will send updates to senior families as they become available.
Please be sure to monitor all Argyle ISD text/email communications and social media for potential updates. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to provide a great graduation experience for the Class of 2021 and families!
Introducing This Year's Valedictorian & Saluatorian
This year's Valedictorian is Isabelle Gilbert. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin and major in Biomedical Engineering. Isabelle participates in AHS Wind Ensemble, Marching Band and UIL Math and Science. She was also honored as a National Merit Commended Student this year.
Argyle High School's Salutatorian is Sarah Crowder. She plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin and major in Journalism. Sarah participates in the AHS Marching and Concert Bands, The Talon News, UIL Journalism and National Junior Honor Society.
Superintendent Surprises Argyle ISD's Campus Nurses
The nurses have done such an outstanding job keeping our Eagle students and staff safe during the pandemic. This was a year in which their jobs changed drastically and they shined in the midst of so many challenges. We are grateful for their service and dedication. Cross Timbers Rotary Honors Nurse Thompson!
The Cross Timbers Rotary Club recently recognized Argyle High School's Nurse Sherrie Thompson (pictured middle) during a breakfast meeting at Circle R Ranch. They took time to honor Nurse Thompson as an outstanding public servant in the community that has shown excellence in their profession.
What a well-deserved honor for Nurse Thompson! She has done a tremendous job keeping our Eagles safe during the challenges of this school year.

Kindergarten Registration Open for 2021-2022
Argyle ISD is excited to announce Kindergarten Registration has started for the 2021-2022 school year. We can't wait to welcome our new kindergarten Eagles in the fall!
The registration process will be done online and families can click on the campus link below for Argyle West Elementary or Hilltop Elementary. If you know of a kindergarten parent coming into the district please help us in sharing this information.

The big move is coming soon! Argyle High School department heads recently had a chance to tour the new AHS campus that opens in the fall! Exciting times in Argyle ISD!
EAGLE REMINDER: Student Medication Pick-Up
Please pick up all medication from the nursing office by the last day of school. If your child will be attending summer school, contact the campus nurse to make medication arrangements.
Texas School Health Guidelines: The school or school nurse will destroy all medication remaining in the school the day after the last day of classes, unless the child will be attending summer school. If you have any questions, please contact your school nurse.

Lady Eagle Golf Wins First State Title!
The Lady Eagles finished a weather-shortened tournament tied with Andrews and won on a tiebreaker using the fifth-best team score at the Plum Creek Course in Kyle.
The state title team includes: (left to right) Claire Jensen, Katie Garner, Madelyn Diomede, Lauren Justice, Madison Wert and Coach Nathan Moses.
Eagle Senior Pole Vaulter Wins Gold
Argyle High School's Caleb Murdock won the Class 4A state championship in the pole vault Thursday at the UIL State Track & Field Meet in Austin. Caleb cleared 16'-3" to win the gold!

Lady Eagle Regan Ruffner cleared 12'-6" in the pole vault and earned a third-place finish at the state meet. The Lady Eagles' 4x400 relay team reached the medal stand with a third-place finish. The team included Ja'Liyah Patterson, Savannah Underwood, Courtney Schleder and Keira Inman.
The Lady Eagles finished 11th overall in the team standings and the Eagles finished 14th.

Lady Eagle Softball Faces Vernon Tonight in Game 2
Game 2 will be played tonight at 7 p.m. at Bowie High School. Game 3 (if necessary) will be played at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Henrietta High School.
