Health reminder from the Nurse's Office
Message From the Health Office in the Elementary Building NYS law requires children in PK or K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th 9th, and 11th grades to have physical exams. It is also mandatory that children in those same grades receive hearing testing and vision testing.
Many have turned copies of their children's examinations into the health office already. Thank You!
I Have scheduled our doctors, nurse practitioner to come to the elementary building to do the last of the physicals 3/6/20 and 3/10/20.
If your child is in grades PK-5, their physical examination will be done on one of those 2 days.
If your child is in another grade but you would like them to be examined (maybe for summer sports?) please contact me as soon as possible so that I can include them and get their screenings done.
I will be doing hearing screening randomly during the next few weeks, and will do vision screening 2/26/20, 3/4/20 and maybe another day if needed. If your child is not in one of those grades, but you feel that they may be experiencing some problems. Please notify me so I can get them in.
Lastly, Community Dental contacted me and they will be coming 3/9/20 to do presentations and education on dental hygiene. I will then schedule a day for them to come to do teeth cleanings. This is optional and not regulated by state law. Paperwork will come home from Community Dental for you to complete or opt out if you wish.
Lets keep our kids healthy.

- Tuesdays in March are for Band T-Shirts! Wear your favorite musical group!
- Music fun facts and jokes will be on the announcements everyday in the morning.
- On Saturday, March 14th, 13 students are participating in the All-County Chorus, conducted by Mr. Flanagan, hosted at the Campbell High School Gymnasium.
- We have students in 2 concerts this month. Band Students will perform on March 10th, and our Chorus will perform March 17th
- Finally, our 2nd Grade Musical is on March 25th. This year's production is called "Swamped", and features the animals and features of the swamp biome. The moral of the story is that no matter what your song, feel free to croak along!
