Join Leaders in Learning
Seventh-grade students are invited to apply to be a member of Leaders in Learning for the 2022-2023 school year. The purpose of this organization will be to develop leaders who have a desire to serve and improve their community. Leaders in Learning act as peer mentors in SEL Advisory lessons. They also plan programs and events to improve our local and global communities. Each year Leaders in Learning is different from the last year because of what the new members make of it.
In order to apply you need to complete the Leaders In Learning Student Activity Information Form and write the essay mentioned on the second page of the application. Your seventh-grade teachers will complete a faculty evaluation based on your performance in class and your Learning Behavior Characteristics (LBCs).
If you are interested and/or have any questions Leaders in Learning Sponsor Erinn Vincent (evincent@d103.org) is hosting an informational meeting during seventh-grade flex on Tuesday, April 12. If you are in band, chorus or orchestra, she has already spoken to your teachers about missing class for this optional meeting.
