What Is Mind Yeti?
Mind Yeti is a new resource from the creators of the Second Step program that will help kids and the adults in their lives reduce stress, improve focus, and develop empathy through mindfulness.
Recent studies show that just a few minutes of mindfulness each day can boost the regions of the brain that help us regulate emotions and solve problems.
Mind Yeti will make daily mindfulness fun and easy for kids and adults everywhere, especially at school. Mind Yeti practice also strengthens the qualities the Second Step program cultivates, from self-regulation to compassion and everything in between.
Three Ways to Use Mind Yeti
- Brain Breaks: Mind Yeti guided audio sessions help students relax their bodies and get their minds ready for learning.
- Cooling Down: Listening to Mind Yeti sessions on any connected device can help students calm their bodies, focus their minds, and make the best decisions possible, especially when it comes to getting along with other people.
- Family Engagement: Share Mind Yeti with parents so they can practice mindfulness with their kids and support social-emotional learning at home.
