BACK TO SCHOOL~The Power of Mindfulness
As families head back to school this Summer and Fall, a number of stress triggers can make for a chaotic transition. Practicing mindfulness has been shown to reduce stress by helping us to notice and "name" the stress culprit, and make our own decision about how we will react. Once we learn, and practice, the skill of recognizing our emotions, we are better able to control our reactions. Read this article from childmind.org to learn more.
