Artist in Residence- Fairbanks Arts Association
Next week will have an artist in residence working with all our students. This residency is in partnership with a grant from the Fairbanks Arts Association.
About the Artist- Marianne Stolz
Marianne is a 3-dimensional artist/woodcarver and instructor at the Fairbanks Folk School. She likes to make 3D art accessible for all ages, so she uses cardboard, an incredibly versatile and affordable material. She has been collaborating with our teachers to develop projects to enhance the content area taught in each classroom. She will also work with our librarian and students in our drama team to create props for our upcoming play. We are super excited to have her at our school; and thankful to the Fairbanks Arts Association for their generous support.

Family Ski Night this Friday!
The ski trails are incredible; after grooming and fresh snow, we would love to have one last family ski night this Friday. I hope you all will come and enjoy the trails for some fantastic spring skiing. Let's make it a night to remember.
AK Star Testing
We will start AK Star state testing the week of April 10th. Our testing schedule is posted on our school website and below for you to look at. Also, please read the parent letter to learn more about AK Star.
