Director's Message

Hello William D. Ford Career-Technical Center Students, Families, and Staff,

Did you know that William D. Ford Career-Technical Center has a variety of student organizations? SKillsUSA and HOSA Future Health Prfessionals are two options for engagement and leadership available.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry professionals working tgether to ensure a future skilled workforce. This organization helps our students excel by providing educational programs, events, and competitions. Students will be participating in regional competitions over the next eight weeks. The regional competition for construction will be hosted at FordCTC.

HOSA Future Health Professionals develops leadership and technical skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness, and recognition. This organization enhances the delivery of compassionate, quality heathcare by providing opportunites for knowledge, skill, and leadersihp development. Our students were very sucessful at regionals and I am proud of them.

Students that are interested in participating in these organizations should contact their program instructor.
