- Has an enveloped capsid
- Humans, dogs, cattle, and cetaceans serve as "natural hosts"
- Transmission routes are respiratory

- Maculopapular rash
- Dry Cough
- Coryza (inflammation of upper respiratory tract)
- Fever
- Conjunctivitis
- Photophobia

Vaccinations
- MMR (Measles-Mumps Rubella) - gotten from ages 12 months or older
- Monovalent Measles Vaccine (only Measles) - gotten at ages 6 months- 12 months
Treatment Options
Although te virus itself cannot be directly treated, one can treat the symptoms in order to lessen the reaction of the body. These include rinsing eyes if bleeding or crusting over, a vaporizer to help with the coughing, and/or ointments to treat the itchiness of the rash(es).
