District Breaks Ground On Elementary School #3!

Argyle ISD celebrated the groundbreaking of its newest campus on Tuesday, June 8.

District officials along with members of Pogue Construction and Corgan Architects joined in the ceremony to launch the beginning of Elementary School #3 in Argyle ISD. The future campus is located on 16 acres in the Canyon Falls community at the corner of Denton Creek Blvd. and Prairie Ridge Rd. in Flower Mound.

“This is an exciting day for the future of Argyle ISD,” said Dr. Telena Wright, Argyle ISD Superintendent. “The shoveling and turning of dirt today is the beginning of the construction of an elementary school that will provide instructional space for 850 students. We are very grateful for our community which approved the 2017 bond that made this campus possible.”

AHS & AMS Campuses Continue Moving This Summer!

As a reminder, Argyle High School is moving into its new campus in Canyon Falls. This campus was previously Argyle Middle School, which is moving to the former high school on Highway 377. The district hired a moving company that has handled the project of switching the two campuses.

This moving process started following the last day of school. This summer, campus signage will be replaced and the high school construction will be completed for the start of the 2021-2022 school year. The new AHS is part of Phase II in the 2017 Bond package.
