In patients where a cure is not possible, progression of the disease may be accompanied by progressive weakness, weight loss, and pain. If you have this disease you will have a lot of tests and doctor visits. The outcome of pancreatic cancer can either be good or bad. Pancreatic cancer can last for a long time depending on if the treatments work. if your body doesn’t react to the treatments like it should the cancer can get worse and you can be at a higher risk of death. Yes there is a cure but some people can't get a cure because of how far along it is. If you are under a lot of stress that can make your recovery take longer compared to someone who is not under a lot of stress. The doctors can know what will happen when they do scans on you or if they do a surgery. If the cancer is spreading and has gotten into a spot where it can spread fast then the doctors will tell you that you will probably not make it. If you catch it in an early stage then you will have a better outcome.
Why should you know about pancreatic cancer?
personal statement
I chose this topic because it's a real issue and it has the highest deaths in cancer. I hoped to learn about what pancreatic cancer does to your body and how you can deal with it. People should know about this disease becauses it can happen to anyone and it happens to a lot of people. Pancreatic cancer can take someone away so fast that you won't even know what happened. The person that has it could be in stage 1 and then a week later can be in stage 3 and it happens so fast.
