Battle Of Cowpens
January 17, 1781
The Beginning
The Battle of Cowpens was in Cowpen, South Carolina on January 17, 1781. The colonists leader was General Morgan. The British leader was General Banastre Tarleton. The colonist came in the way the other fort was so they could flank them, but the British were ready. When the battle started the colonist knew that they were going to win because there were not many British soldiers compared to the colonist.

The Ending
The war only last an hour long. At the end of the day only 110 British soldiers were killed and 25 colonist killed. After this war the colonist won the Revolutionary War. If it were not for this war we would have lost the Revolutionary War and maybe have been all British. This war lead to the final war, The Battle of Yorktown.
