FROM THE DESK OF THE PRINCIPAL

I had so much fun this week visiting with 5th grade and learning about collective nouns, reading to 1st grade and chatting with Kindergarten as they learned to write the letter N. I hope to see you at the parade. We are excited to kick off our literacy program, Reading Rocks, at our Monday assembly at 2:15 p.m in the Parish Center. All are welcome to join us. Have a great weekend!

A NOTE FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE

Autumn is finally here! It will be nice to enjoy some cooler weather. Unfortunately, this time of year also seems to bring along some airborne illnesses. We have had a few confirmed cases of Strep throat as well as Influenza B. The best way to avoid any sickness is to remember to wash your hands with soap and water often. Should your student run a temperature, remember that he/she must be fever free for 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medication. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us to stay healthy. Have a great weekend!
