Short and Sweet!

First I want to thank each of you for the thoughtful gift! I loved the perfume. I am so thankful for you and your children, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for having such a great group of children. I am the luckiest teacher at ISP! This week was short yet sweet and fun! We managed to squeeze every ounce of learning and fun out of our four days together! From making our Christmas craft, and working on special gifts and treats for mommies! A very special thanks to the mommies who came to help us make our wonderful snowman craft. The kids were so excited and so happy to buy them at the holiday shop. Now off to another long weekend and a extra special one as we get to celebrate Mother's Day! Then back to enjoy our few days left before our holiday break!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all PK 4.2 mommies! We love you so so much and appreciate each one of you immensely. You are all so special to each one of us, you are the rainbow of our hearts. You are super mom! Not just for your child, but super mom for me! Thank you for all your help, dedication and time. I wish you a lovely weekend together with your children and family.

YOU ARE INVITED on Wednesday December 10, 2014 to our classroom for a special presentation to honor you! Please join us at 11:00 in our classroom. It is something really short and sweet we have prepared for all of you.

You don't have to bring nothing else but yourself :)! We do want to start at 11:00, so please make sure you come on time, also the other PK 4's will have their presentation around the same time, so you might want to get here a little bit earlier to get a parking spot + December traffic is no fun at all!

See you all on Wednesday!

December 10- A special mother's day celebration we have planned for you! We want to start at 11:00 so make sure you coordinate and get in 20 minutes earlier to find a parking space. If you will not be able to make it, I suggest you to not send your child to school on this day.

December 15-As we wrap up our wheel unit, we want to celebrate in BIG! We are planning a special way to celebrate their learning and accomplishments. We will be visiting Parque Omar (educaccion vial) where the children will be riding their own wheeled object. (skates, tricycles, bicycles, heelys, scooter, etc) We need your support by making sure your child has a wheeled object that day. If it is small like roller skates, Heelys you may send it in with your child. If not, you need to coordinate or find a way to take it to the park. The park is not providing us with wheeled objects. If you would like to join us please meet us directly at the park at 9:00 am.
We will be sending out Fieldtrip permission forms next week.

December 17- Holiday Class Party (More info. coming soon)

December 19-Last Day of School (Half Day)

Back to school: January 14, 2015.

Holiday Book Countdown!

Book Advent

I began to search for something different to prepare for the holidays for our classroom this year. I am very fortunate to have a group of students who are passionate for books! I really wanted to do something holiday themed around their love for such an important skill. Every morning during our circle time, the students get to open the book that matches our countdown number and we then do a whole group read-aloud. They are so excited as we countdown the days in such a fun way!
