A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL

Hello Wildcats,

We have had a wonderful start to the school year and are just finishing our eighth week. I am proud that I am your principal. You are a fantastic group of Wildcat students. You are respectful, polite, and you care about your fellow students. You are students who have decided to take responsibility for your grades and your actions. Thank you for that—for owning your personal decisions. Making the decision to be your best self is important to your growth as a person and has an impact on your personality and integrity.

Basketball season is coming to an end and cross country is in full swing. I love that you are passionate about sports and are developing into well rounded people. Some of you have not tried out for the teams yet. I hope you will consider it. Remember that we have several clubs and associations as well. You should find a list of clubs in this newsletter. I hope you find one that interests you.

Our themes this year are: 1) the road to success is always under construction, and 2) get out of your comfort zone and into the construction zone. Another saying I like is this: Wherever you are, be there. Give 100% of yourself to the task at hand, whether the task is class work, homework, sports, cleaning, or having fun with friends. Give it your all.

Proud to be in the Pride,

Maura Bennington, Principal
