Class Goodies
A P R I L! We have chicks coming and a few things going on that you need to know about.
Here is a peek at what we have been up to...
BABY CHICKS!
Each day we are journaling about something we learned that day and working on a countdown to our "hatch" day!
Be watching for information about taking home a baby chick once they hatch.
Schedule Changes Coming Soon...
I will attempt to make our routine as normal as possible otherwise (at least as much as you can while working with baby chicks in the room). :)
Last Friday we created HSA Maps with our 4th grade buddies!
Working on our map creation skills
Soaking up the sun and showing off hard work!
Our finished map
Animal Adaptations
These students made a taller shoe to keep away snakes.
A boot is better for their environment.
TWO soles are better than one to protect your feet.
Other subject areas...
We are working on geometry in math, including shapes and attributes.
In Language we are working on quality writing, including "how-to" books and using possessive nouns appropriately (i.e., That is the girl's coat).
Finally, we are working on our last 4 installments of word wall words to round out our 100 words.
Thank you for your continued support at home to help balance this classroom well!
