Friday: 12/11: Mothers' Luncheon
If your child will be missing a test due to an early vacation, please be sure to contact the teacher so your 4th grader can take the test before they leave.
Academics
Reading: We are reading Jose, Born to Dance! We will learn about author's purpose, biographies, similes and metaphors, and shades of meaning in our vocabulary words.
Spelling: Lesson 10: vowel + /r/ sounds. The test will be Friday, December 11th.
English: We will be continuing our work with persuasive paragraphs.
Science: We are beginning robotics during science, one class at a time. 4H will begin building and programming this week! Everyone is learning about life in a tide pool, in the light zone, the dark zone, and a reef. We will have a test on Thursday, December 17th.
Social Studies: Our next quiz is Thursday, December 10th on pages 41-48 of the packet. Review vocabulary, comprehension questions/answers, and the roles priests and Native Americans played on the missions.
