What Are We Learning?
Writing: We just completed our literary essay unit. We will be exploring our writer's notebooks more, continuing to blog, and soon we will start writing our own informational book! We also wrote letters to our penpals in Mrs. Werner's class in Wisconsin.
Fundations: We will be reviewing open syllables and learning open syllable exceptions.
Math: We are in the middle of Module 4, studying area! We are also learning our multiplication tables by heart and taking fluency quizzes to see if we can multiply with speed and accuracy.
Science: We are studying plant and animal life cycles.
Social Studies: We will be presenting the Google Slides we made about different countries in Library.
Character Education: This month's trait is "empathy" and it will also be our word of the week. Empathy is such an important trait to develop!
