Principal's Message
April 24 2020
Hello Willink Families,
It’s been a busy week for sure as we complete the first week of new learning. I continue to appreciate the feedback and conversations I’ve had with parents, students, and staff as we all walk this path together for the first time.
With all of the information still being interpreted, applied, and made into new habits, I’ll try to keep my message brief.
As we go forward, we will continue to put the health and well-being of students, staff, and families as the priority. As students engage in new learning, we expect their best but we also know that this will look different for everyone. Communication and connection will be our greatest tools to accomplish this.
As teachers begin providing feedback to students towards the essential standards, please continue to access the parent portal where this information will be shared. If you need help resetting or logging on, please follow this link or email icportal@webstercsd.org.
As we move into week 7 of social distancing, I anticipate we will see more good news (and good weather) each day.
Take care, be well, and thank you for all of your efforts as you balance school, work, parenting, and everything else as we go through this together.
Take care,
Brian
Show Choir Updates
Show Choir auditions were supposed to be held in May. Due to the coronavirus, we have decided to hold live auditions in the fall - it will be much more fun to learn and audition in person! If you are interested in auditioning, we would love to know that so we can reach out to you. If you are in a music class, please let your music teacher know, or contact Laura D'Angelo directly to her email: Laura_D'Angelo@websterschools.org
You do not need to be in a music group or class to participate in Show Choir. Details will be forthcoming! Thank you so much - and we hope to see you in the fall!
