Owl Notes

*NOVEMBER - We made it to Thanksgiving Break! Take time to relax, unplug and make memories with your loved ones! Make it a goal to spend at least half your break NOT thinking about school, and if you can do it, spend three/fourths of your break without school thinking!

*FACULTY MEETING MONDAY - We will have a faculty meeting on Monday upon return. For the faculty meeting, you will need to bring with you supplies that can be used to make decorations like construction paper, glue stick, scissors, tape, markers, etc... These will be used for a team building activity.

*SCHOOL GOALS - Reminder that one of our school goals is that by the end of December, we will have been trained and implemented Poster Method in math classes twice a month. Please check in with your teams on this goal. In January, math will transition to focusing on differentiated anchor stations.

Tentatively, starting the week we come back from Thanksgiving, the painters will be here to touch up our building in the evening hours. I have walked and made a list of areas in the hallways that need touch up. When they "touch up," they paint the entire area/wall. So, if you have a larger nick or peeling paint, in an area near you, please remove papers that are on the wall in that area (ex - blue/red area around your doors). They will not paint if there are things on the wall.

If you have areas of concern that you want taken care of in your room, please let me know with the understanding that they will paint an entire wall, not just a section.
