Junior Golf of FPD
Reaching out to kids to reach their potential!
The Mission:
To enable all young people, especially those needing us most, to experience the game of golf. We aim to provide them with the opportunity to learn core values, achieve personal growth, and develop the Physical (hand-eye coordination, strength, balance), Psychological (confidence, good judgement, perseverance, commitment), and Social (honesty, etiquette, sportsmanship, courtesy) attributes; learning to apply them in golf AND life!
Children are introduced to golf through SNAG (Starting New At Golf) where we focus on the fundamentals. When the program is completed, those children who are ready to advance after evaluation are invited to a Tee Level Clinic. Upon completion of the clinic, children receive a set of clubs, shirt, and hat.
Your assistance helps provide the children with everything mentioned above; from the opportunity to acquire certain life skills to the access of their own equipment. It also provides the opportunity for children to have course access and to play in summer tournaments.
