What is classroom management?

Classroom management refers to the wide variety of skills and techniques that teachers use to keep students organized, orderly, focused, attentive, on task, and academically productive during a class.

1. Be Patient

Kids will disrupt or misbehave sometimes and you will have to explain thing more than ones. Don’t get frustrated!

2. Kids are people

Kids have the need to ask question or express their selves. You can take advantage of it.

3. find out about the kids

Take into account your pupils interest.

4. always have a buck-up plan

Don’t fully rely on your main plan. Always have some buck-up activities just in case something happens.

5. Get students involved

Involve children in the decisions you make, make them see they have a voice on the decisions.

6. Set clear rules

Give few and clear rules.

7. Prepare to be disrupted

Kids will interrupt you with questions or comments.

8. Instill high expectations

Don't judge any of your pupils. If you think they won't achieve the objectives they won't. It is important for them to have your encouragement.

9. create an effective learning enviroment

Students need to feel safe, secure and comfortable in order to do their best learning.

10. reward kids when they do somethig well

Always give your student good feedback. They love to hear they have done something good.
