Learner Profile - Balanced
We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives—intellectual, physical, (spiritual) and emotional— to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live.
Reflect: How are you practicing being balanced? What do you do to take care of each area of your life?

Breaking News -- Class Size Committee
Class Size Committee
The duties of the class size committee have typically fallen to responsibility of our leadership team. However, I was just informed today that we are to share specific classroom allocations and projected enrollments with our "class size committee" before spring break. Well, the Pedagogical Leadership Team does not meet until April 9 and we are all kind of busy with other stuff and don't want an additional meeting. So, we will hold a brief discussion/decision at our staff meeting Tuesday.
Here is my draft staffing plan up for discussion/decision by staff (class size committee) on Tuesday, March 13.
Projected student total: 356 (general education)
Staffing Allocation K-5: 16
K = 60 = 3 teachers
1st = 64 = 3 teachers
2nd = 52 = 2 teachers
3rd = 60 = 3 teachers
4th = 68 = 3 teachers
5th = 50 = 2 teachers

Great Book
Did you know that I have a GREAT BOOK? Students who do something, anything, can write their name in my book. They can come to the office and tell me what they did or achieved and I will let them sign and date the book. Peggy will also supervise the signing and praise the signer when I am gone. Send your students to sign the book and be praised!
