REMINDERS
1. Sharpeners are NOT allowed - Students need to bring 3-5 sharpened pencils to school each day. Sharpening pencils has resulted in way too much distractions and inattentiveness during instructional times.
2. ALL homework is to be checked and signed, including daily Reading Logs (20-30 minutes of reading a chapter book each day).
3. Continue to send in pennies for our community project "Andre's Pink Penny Project". Our FIRST gallon bottle is almost full.
4. GLAT ENRICHMENT CLASSES - Classes EVERY Monday and Tuesday from 3-4.
Please SEND in a snack for after school on these days. ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS.
HOMEWORK
Homework this weekend is to COMPLETE book report and diorama.
Please check Homework journals each evening.
ALL homework assignments need to be SIGNED and CHECKED for errors.
EXCUSES FOR NO HOMEWORK AND SIGNATURE ARE NO LONGER BENG ACCEPTED.
Your child will be given a HOMEWORK REFERRAL. Despite the REFERRAL there are still CHILDREN ARE STILL NOT COMPLETING HOMEWORK - I will now be emailing you when your child has not done or completed the Homework assignment.

PE Department/Heart Association Fun Walk and Run
Announcement: Come out and join the St. John's College Family Fun Walk & Run on Saturday May 30th @ 6:30 a.m. The route will begin at Saunders Beach Family Park and end at the school grounds. $10 kids $15 adults part proceeds will go to the Heart Foundation. Prizes will be given to top competitors. Please visit our school's bursar office for registration forms.
