EUNICE JR HIGH SCHOOL
The Eunice Junior High School Science Club recently held its first meeting of the year. Elections were held for officers; President- Aniyah Cesar, Vice President- Kenslei LaRose, Secretary- Denina Ned. Club members will be participating in the annual EJHS Science Fair which will be held on Friday, November 8th. Members discussed the requirements for Science Projects that will be entered in the fair. The club will have monthly meetings.

Eunice Junior High School- Dads & Kids, a local organization whose mission is to give of their time for the youth in our community, made it possible for Tamara Wilson, Founder of Speak Out to come and spend the day at EJHS. Ms. Wilson spoke to each of the PE classes about the importance of talking to others if there is a problem and letting people in. She shared her own experiences through middle school and high school and the importance of awareness.

The Eunice Junior High School Bobcats defeated the OJHS Tigers by a score of 22-12 to stay undefeated in district play.
The Bobcats are coached by Head Coach- LaQuintin Lamb, Assistants- Casey Charlie, Chance Andrepont, Corey Andrepont, Caleb Johnson, and Zeke Thomas.
EJHS would like to send a special thank you to EHS Head Coach Paul Trosclair, EHS Principal Mitch Fontenot, and Booster Club President Roger Pedigo for allowing EJHS the use of Bobcat Stadium to host our opponents.
Eunice Junior High School- Mrs. Kathy Bollich's 8th grade LA History students have been studying about the new colony of Louisiane.
The Pelican girls, the first European females to this lonely outpost in the New World, were sent by King Louis XIV in the care of a priest who was instructed to marry them to Frenchmen as quickly as possible to help civilize the colonies.
Mrs. Bollich's classes practiced and performed in front of their peers the play 'The Pelican Girls' to give insight on what was happening in the colonies at that time.

Ms. Liz's Class at Grand Coteau Elementary went on a Field Trip to KidsWorld and Girard Park.
This trip was so much fun and helped the students work on their motor skills, balance, and sensory integration.
