The life of Shakespeare
born on April 23, 1564, As the third of eight children. William Shakespeare grew up in a small town 100 miles northwest of London. He was not able to attend a university, because his family was poor. Instead, in 1582 at age eighteen, he married Anne Hathaway, a twenty six year old woman, who was three months pregnant. They had three children together Susanna, who was born in 1583, and their twins, Hamnet and Judith, were born in 1585. Between 1590 and 1592, Shakespeare became very popular in London, with his Henr VI series, Richard III, and The Comedy of Error plays. in 1594, Shakespeare became a shareholder in the Lord Chamberlain's Men, one of the most popular acting companies in London, at the time. in 1596, his son Hamnet died. In 1616, William decided to revise his will, due to health problems. He had passed one month later, on April 23, 1616.
