We want to thank Carolyn for her dedication to students, staff, and families these past nine years. Carolyn created our Spartan Strong program, supported ASB activities and clubs, developed our spring fine arts assembly, established student voice opportunities, and was responsible for our school's safety plan. We will miss her!

Seniors and Families:
We would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate the Class of 2023 at our first annual Signing Day Celebration. Signing Day is an opportunity to celebrate students committing to pursue their education past high school. Whether a student wants to earn a two-year degree, a four-year degree, a certificate or industry-recognized credential, transfer to a new institution, complete an apprenticeship, or enlist in the military, we want to celebrate them! We will hold a ceremony at 6:00 PM on May 15th at Stanwood High School where students will be recognized for their post-high school path and sign a commitment to this path. To sign up to participate, students should complete this form by May 1st. Please only submit one form per student.

VOLUNTEERING AT SHS
ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
This past Wednesday, Dr. Rumbaugh led staff through a reflection and planning activity. Staff discussed these two questions in small groups:

The leadership team will review the small groups' notes on May 8th. Then the staff will work on a draft of next year's AAP on May 10th.
