Class of 2020:
College and Career: Macomb Community College is the number one place our graduates go after they leave CVHS. If you are still wondering what to do next year, you should apply to Macomb. It is a great place to start if you want to eventually transfer to a 4-year college or it is a great place to start a career with a 2-year degree or certificate. Macomb has been impacted by world events as well so follow this link to see how they are addressing questions about next year. https://www.macomb.edu/about-macomb/coronavirus/index.html
Financial Aid: We encourage you to keep thinking about financial aid and scholarships. You can still apply for federal need-based aid. See previous editions for more details or apply at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
If you were awarded financial aid and your circumstances have changed, there may be room to appeal your college's decision about money. Follow this link to an interesting article on the topic: http://www.thecollegesolution.com/when-should-you-appeal-a-financial-aid-letter/
