ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE DAYS OF MAY 21-MAY 25, 2018
THANK YOU: Thank you to everyone that has been flexible when asked to cover or help when needed. We do everything we can to make things safe and orderly with minimal disruption. We do appreciate what you all do each day for children.
FINAL TRACK 1 RETENTION LIST: If you have a student (s) that should be considered for retention please send the names to Kevin by this Tuesday (May 22) so that appropriate retention data/documentation forms can be sent to you. Final retention committee is Monday, June 4. Remember that your documentation, inclusive of mCLASS, NKT, Report Card Grades, Grade Level CFAs, links to Seesaw portfolio assessments, work samples, parent conference dates, PEP goals, progress monitoring data and intervention committee information (Tier 2 and 3 strategies) are essential to our committee discussion.
PUE FLOOR CLEANING: We are scheduled to have our floors done over the Memorial Day. Remember to have personal items and items that could be broken put in a safe spot. It is always our hope that everything will be put back as it was when you left it but it is always a good idea to get here a little early on Tuesday, May 29th items can be adjusted if out of place. Mr. Ward will be available early that morning if any heavy items are out of place.
ITEMS IN THE HALLWAY: If you have items to be thrown away (furniture, large items) please leave them in the classroom until Mr. Ward can remove them. Items left in the hallway are fire hazards when students attempt to move in the hallways. Let the office know if you have items for removal and we will put it on Mr. Ward's daily list of tasks.
FIELD DAY: We moved the Field Day for Tracks 1 and 3 to give more time for parents to volunteer. We strongly encourage you to work with your room parents to solicit volunteer sign up. If we are not able to get enough volunteers for field day, teachers may be asked to man stations as needed. Yikes!! We also may need to alter the field day plan. Please make sure to talk to your classroom parents and solicit volunteers to help us avoid any field day changes. We need your help!!
