Principal's Comment
Kia ora e te Whanau
Today is the final day of the 2023 school year.
I'm so incredibly proud of our children for their outstanding efforts and behaviour this year. Best wishes to our Year 6 children who are moving onto intermediate school next year. Thanks to parents also for the support you have given the school again this year.
A huge thanks to my amazing staff for their efforts in 2023. I'm so lucky to have such a talented team of professionals.
This holidays the playscape is being constructed and we anticipate completion within the first few weeks of school beginning in 2024.
Have a wonderful and safe Christmas and holiday break. I look forward to seeing our children back next year.
Nga mihi,
Steve
Farewell Mrs Woods
After fourteen years of wonderful service, Mrs Jo Woods is retiring from Onekawa School.
Over these years, Jo has done a fantastic job of teaching many children and providing them with an outstanding education.
Jo has led the junior syndicate over this time and has been part of the school's senior management team. She has made significant contributions to the school.
Thanks Jo for all you have done for us at Onekawa School!
