May 2019 NDS Notice
Due to the M.S. Band/Chorus Concert, AFTERSCHOOL will close at 5:30.
As the end of this school year is drawing close, we would like to extend an opportunity to all current students to attend our Student Academic Camp from Monday, June 3rd to Friday, June 7th from 8:00 am - 11:30 am. This camp is completely voluntary and will not be a required event. If your child should choose to attend this week, they will have the opportunity to meet the next year's teachers, spend time in each classroom learning about what next year will hold for them, and having fun with educational activities. Students who attend will be given a snack time and recess time but will not be offered a lunchtime. In order for our teachers to better prepare for the exciting week, we are asking for you to fill out the attached R.S.V.P. form.
We are excited to be able to offer summer school again this year to students that do not score a 3, 4, or 5 on their Reading or Science End of Grade Tests for grades 4 through 8. The days of remediation will be Monday, June 3rd through Friday, June 7th from 8:00 - 11:30. The End of Grade retakes for 4th-8th grade Reading and Science will be held on the following Monday and Tuesday, June 10th and 11th starting at 8:00 am.
