Characterization

It the writing shows he didn't want to be scared in front of his sister. Also it shows that he is braver than his sister was in that moment.
"I'm telling you all there's ghost in the hotel and were not pulling a prank." I will never give up I don't need you to get hurt.
The narrator tells you that he doesn't want the guest to get hurt and that he wont give up.
Theme
Don't pretend something real because it might become real and hunt you in the future .
Travis and Corey learned that the hotel is hunted and started playing pranks on the guest. One night the ghost started hunting again.
The guest didn't believe them because they were playing pranks. Then it got very scary because the ghost threaten them to hurt the guest.
Figurtive and descriptive language
"The cold air crept up my back that made me shiver as a puppy in winter. I felt like I was going to get killed, but it was probably just my sister. "
