Donation from the American Legion Auxiliary
Kudos to the Mitchell American Legion Auxiliary for the monetary donation to our Music Department.
Sharon Broghammer presented a check to Miss Wehlander on October 6th for her to use towards the purchase of recorders for her fourth grade students. The students also took time to
write thank you notes to the American Legion.
With November ...... Comes Changing Weather
Cooler weather is fast approaching. Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately. We go outside unless it is raining or the wind chill drops below zero. All students are expected to go outside during recess. We have a very limited supply of mittens for students to borrow. If you need help with supplying those items, contact The Caring Close

Remember to Set Your Clocks Back -
The Book Vending Machine is HERE......
October was an exciting month for the library. Our book vending machine was delivered! Many students have already received books for their birthday, from finding a golden snitch or for exhibiting awesome behavior. The students are loving it!
Our 1st annual Read-A-Thon began on October 30th. it will last two weeks. This is a fundraiser for the library to help pay for our vending machine and the books that go into it. My goal is to have students read at least 5000 minutes.
Hopefully, we can raise enough money to keep our machine filled all year long with fun new books. Please be sure to ask your learner about the Read-A-Thon. Help us make this a big success and show our learners how important reading is.
