The students have practiced their cooking skills by preparing, Pumpkin rolls, Pizza, Lasagna, Microwave Mac and Cheese and Peanut Blossom cookies.
8th grade
The 8th grade had an awesome 2nd nine weeks! The quarter began with students learning the origin of the chuck wagon and the historical impact the great cattle drives had on the meat industry. Thanksgiving was celebrated with discussions of fruit where students made pumpkin rolls and apple crumb pies including preparing their own crust from scratch! The Holidays brought the sewing unit. The students did a fantastic job sewing 3 dimensional trees that were given as gifts to Moms and Grams. The quarter ended with exploring career options.
