HAPPY EASTER!
The tomb is empty! Jesus has risen! Alleluia!
Easter is not just one day, it is a whole season. The disciples were able to walk with Jesus one last time before His ascension into heaven. It's a time to renew our faith in the promises God gives us.
During this time, our school is dedicated in reminding and showing students to continue their love for God through good deeds, prayer, and fasting from the negatives while feasting on the positives.
We have much to celebrate and look forward to the renewal and growth around us.
First, thank you to all those who supported the Read-a-thon. We were able to raise an additional $7, 483.91 for our school.
Secondly, we are in the process of updating our building with 3 new smartboards; replacing our furnace; replacing the roof in the original St. Stephen's building; and laying new tile in the 1st and 2nd grade hallway wing. This is major progress towards updating and being good stewards of our school.
As we go through April, we will continue to share the good news about SFSS to increase enrollment for next school and help families complete the enrollment process. Financial aid requests will be reviewed at the end of the month, so please complete your enrollment in order to apply for financial aid via FACTS as soon as possible.
3rd grade STEM The 3rd graders read about Antarctica and then later in the day were challenged to create an artificial ice flow for 4 penguins to float on. | Thank you HWS! HWS hosted a 6th grade day on campus to explore careers and science topics. | Preschool Egg Marbling What do you get when you mix food coloring, shaving cream, eggs, and preschool? You make marbleized Easter eggs and a huge fun mess, of course! |

Events This Week
Don't forget to order your hot lunches via FACTS. The hot dog order for the week closes at 6 am Sunday.
Monday will be a spirit wear day for students and staff. (Students may wear the blue SFSS shirt, remember no shorts or open toe shoes. Or students may wear the uniform of the day.)
Friday will be a wear purple day for students and staff for those who bring in an item for the VA hospital. It's Purple Up day - a day to honor military children from all branches of the military. We know we have a few proud students of military families. If you do not have purple or your child chooses not to participate, they should wear the uniform of the day.
