Wicked Good Halloween Books
**Resources linked in the title of each book.
This book is a fun and endearing story about a little pumpkin seed who only wishes to be big and scary. As he goes through different changes, he learns the importance of being patient. Will the little seed ever be really, truly scary? Read the book and use the hands-on activity guide for ideas for different projects.
Robin Hill School: Halloween Fun
Trick or treat! The first graders of Robin Hill School are in their costumes and ready to celebrate Halloween at a party hosted by first-grader, Jamie. This year there's a haunted house to go through. Hannah is too nervous to enter until Jamie volunteers to go with her. Use the activity guide to create activities for students to do before, during and after reading.
It's Clifford's first Halloween and he dresses up as the cutest little ghost ever. Clifford wants to try everything from treat-or-treating to candy apples to haunted houses. Use the vocabulary lists, puzzles and games as supporting literacy materials for this fun book.
