What Compost Yields Highest Growth?
An experiment designed by: Branson Rives
Question
What compost made from a squash, a stalk of celery, and a tomato will produce the most growth in a plant?
Hypothesis
Out of the three plants that I intend to rot into the ground to make compost I believe that the tomato compost will yield the best growth for the plants.
Experiment
Control Group
In addition to the composted seeds, I had a control group with no compost of any kind.
I added rotten squash to the soil.
The seeds were for English ivy, the plant would get 50 ml of water a day and would sit in the window.
I added rotten tomato to the soil.

Results
Squash Wins!
The English ivy with the squash compost grew a whole 6 cm longer than than the celery, and 4 cm longer than the tomato, also it grew 11 cm longer than the control group.
