Sherwood Updates

Hello Sherwood Families,

What an exciting week it has been at Sherwood! We would like to extend a sincere thank you for our entire Sherwood community for the thoughtful gestures celebrating our incredible staff. It was a wonderful week recognizing such a dedicated group of adults who all support our pandas with such warmth.

Our PTO is second to none and went above and beyond to celebrate our staff. There were chair massages to provide staff have a moment of quiet relaxation, kind chalk messages on the sidewalks, an outstanding snack cart, a delicious meal from Washington Gardens to give our teachers energy to work tirelessly for our students, and cozy Sherwood sweatshirts to provide us all an opportunity to show our school spirit! Thank you Sherwood PTO for all you do!

We have been focusing on academic attitude the past two weeks and it is clear our students took on the challenge with enthusiasm. So many green tickets were earned by our students during our Academic Attitude Booster! On Monday, May 9th we will be celebrating reaching our goal by having reading picnics for each grade level. Please remind your child(ren) to bring a towel or blanket to school on Monday so they can find a comfortable place to relax and read!

Panda Pride,

Rachel & Kevin
