The Argyle Eagles did it again! The Eagle golf team won the Class 4A state championship on Tuesday at the Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle.

The Eagles won by a convincing 22 strokes ahead of second place. The team was led by Gaven Lane, who finished second overall among individuals. This marked Argyle's first state title since 2017 and fourth in the program's history.

"I'm so happy for my seniors," Argyle coach Cody Vanderford said. "It's great that they got to end their careers with gold medals!
