Positive Behaviors Interventions & Supports
As Avalon teachers, staff, and members of the PBIS Team seek to support the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral competence of all students during this time of distance learning, the PBIS Team is in the process of implementing the following interventions and supports:
- Tier I: Caught Being Good on Zoom - Students are awarded a Caught Being Good ticket that will give them a virtual reward. Eagle, Effort, and Good Attendance Awards are also in effect and will be e-mailed. We are looking into virtual field trips for each class.
- Tier II: Enrichment Clubs are forming. Please complete the attached survey to let us know which groups your student is interested in. Another group is being formed for those students that need extra support in self-management skills. Cloverbuds/4H and Scouting is also available - please see more information within this newsletter.
