History
In the late 19th century, the Mambo was created as a result of a mixture of African beats and Latin America's already existent Danzon. A popular orchestra in that era was ArcaƱo y sus Maravillas, led by the brothers Orestes and Israel Lopez, and they were known as the creators for the foundation of Mambo music and dance.
Jazz music actually had influence on the the advancement of the Mambo.
Mambo fever became evident in the 1950s'.
Mambo paved much of the way for Salsa music to come into existence.
