Florida Civic Literacy Examination
The state has required a new test called the Florida Civic Literacy Examination (FCLE). This test is required of students (typically seniors) enrolled in certain U.S. Government courses and will be required of college students as well. Beginning with students initially entering a Florida College System institution or state university in the 2021-2022 school year and thereafter, each student must demonstrate competency in civic literacy by achieving a passing score on an assessment and by successfully completing a civic literacy course. The Florida Civic Literacy Examination (FCLE) is the assessment used to meet this requirement. If a student passes this assessment while in high school, they are exempt from the postsecondary exam requirement.
In conclusion, those students taking U.S. Government this semester will be taking this exam on December 10th. It is an 80 minute test, but the students may take up to half the school day.

Equal Opportunity Schools
Hello Wildcats! Please take a moment to complete the survey for Equal Opportunity Schools. It can be found on your myPascoConnects homepage.
This survey is useful for you as we start the planning process for next school year. Our partnership with Equal Opportunity Schools helps ensure our students have access to a challenging curriculum that meets their interests and helps them achieve their goals. Our goal is for ninety percent of students to complete the survey. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
In an effort to help Mr. Corliss and Mr. Odell provide our automotive students with the best possible experiences, we are asking for donations to the WCHS Automotive Academy. The money brought in will help purchase consumable resources that the students will use while in class. We appreciate any and all of your support for our Auto program. Please click on the link below to make your donations.
