Talent Show details
This time of year we would be sending out notices about our upcoming talent show. Unfortunately, COVID had other plans, but I’m pleased to announce the show must go on. This year, the show will be held virtually using Flipgrid. This tool opens up many possibilities. You can either record your talent using the Flipgrid site or app, or you could take a video you already have and upload it. If you have an unbelievable video of you hauling in a huge walleye this summer submit it. We are excited to see your submission.
Flipgrid is a website/app that allows parents to upload videos directly into folders via a code. Parents will need to either download the app to their phone or go through the website using their email. I know some families may be uncomfortable about downloading another app or entering your email, but we have found this is the easiest way to do it. Videos must be no more than 90 seconds in length and must be submitted no later than Friday, March 12th at 3pm. Please make sure the videos are appropriate as this is a family show. We are excited about what students can come up with this year using these new tools.
How to enter a video:
1. Go to flipgrid.com or download the app
2. Join Code: Will be different for each grade level
a. Fifth Grade: henrickson1381
b. Fourth Grade: henrickson5398
c. Third Grade: henrickson2535
d. Second Grade: henrickson6466
e. First Grade: henrickson0557
f. Kindergarten: henrickson8060

Technology Support
Fargo Public Schools understands that distance learning and additional technology can sometimes be difficult to navigate. If students and parents need help, they can call the support line at 701.446.1450 or email helpdesk@fargo.k12.nd.us. Technology support is available Monday through Thursday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
ATTENDANCE INFORMATION
Please help us with our daily attendance by calling the school if your child is absent or will be leaving early. By calling the school we are able to insure that your child is safe and accounted for each day.
Please call the office ( 446-5051) or email Patty Edlund at edlunpa@fargo.k12.nd.us.
If your child arrives at school after the bell rings at 8:30AM, they will need to stop at the office to get a tardy slip before going to the classroom.
