Snohomish Book Cafe
helping kids avoid the summer slide
What is the Snohomish Book Cafe?
Partnering with the Kids Cafe, the summer meal program offered by the Snohomish School District, the Snohomish Book Cafe aims to get books into the hands of kids throughout the summer. Free books are offered weekly with kids being able to choose what they want to read throughout the summer. Books ranging from board books to chapter books, picture books to young adult books, informational books to graphic novels... all the books are free for the children to take home and read. Kids can return their books each week or keep them to love and read some more... the choice is theirs.
