Description
Join us for a conversation about what NASA can do to support you! Learn about synchronous and asynchronous educator professional development opportunities through webinars and badges as well as digital resources available for use at home.
The NASA Educator Professional Development Collaborative (EPDC) at Texas State University regularly provides webinars for K-12 educators on STEAM content using NASA resources. For May we will be offering over thirty webinars covering a wide range of STEM topics across various grade levels.
The NASA STEM EPDC Digital Badging System allows you to select from a wide variety of STEM topics, engage in exciting learning opportunities, demonstrate your mastery of the topic and receive a badge of accomplishment for your work that you can share with others of your choosing. What a great way to expand your STEM knowledge and enhance your teaching practices.
AND….One of NASA’s newest initiatives for providing K-4, 5-8 & 9-12 activities is NASA STEM @ Home learning during these extraordinary times. The great part is that these activities have been specifically selected as needing minimal supplies or supplies commonly available within the home.
Come join us for a one hour presentation to highlight these three unique NASA learning opportunities. There will also be time for Q&A.
Our educational partner, Hand2Mind will be giving away a $25 gift card to one lucky participant
