Recognizing Positive Behavior

This week we would like to recognize Llyam S. from Mrs. Kleinschmidt's class for positive behavior. Keep up the great work!

Nurse Notes

If your child is out sick and will be returning with a doctor's note and/or test results you can either send the paperwork to school with them for the school nurse or you can take a picture of the note/results and email me at


After school activities

Cross Country

Cross Country is picking up speed! Last night at the Neillsville invite the junior high dominated, with the girls and boys teams both taking first place.

The overall top sixth grade finishers were Penny Kotek in third, Max Demulling in third, and Clay Handrick in fourth.

Keep an eye on these fast Hornets! Our next meet is at HOME at Whispering Pines next Tuesday.

Chippewa County Spirit of Christmas

Spirit of Christmas serves Chippewa County residents who are in need of gifts during

the holiday season. The organization’s main focus is on children through age 17.

Applications for Spirit of Christmas are NOW available by:

Due to COVID-19 the organization is asking that applications be turned in as soon as possible, and that you PRINT CLEARLY when completing the application. See the application or refer to the website for where to return completed applications. Any applications returned after November 18th may not be served.
