If you have not purchased a yearbook yet, there are approximately 15 left! Please pay for your yearbook at the Athletics window. If you have paid for a yearbook, you can pick it up at the Athletics window. Thanks!


Congrats to the AHS Broadcast Club, who won a regional Emmy Award last weekend in Seattle. The club was recognized for Outstanding Live High School Sports Productions. Well done!

Important Library Information

All library books and textbooks are due Wednesday, June 19. Textbooks are to be returned to the textbook window, which is located downstairs in the commons near the bottom of the staircase.

You may check out summer reading library books until this Friday, June 14. The library will be closed Monday, June 17 - Wednesday, June 19.

Don't Vape - It's Dangerous AND It's Against School Policy

Many teens have the dangerous misperception that vaping is harmless.

  • Vaping exposes your lungs to harmful chemicals - formaldehyde, toxic metals, and many other chemicals that are horrible for your lungs.
  • Vaping interrupts normal brain development
  • Long-lasting effects include lack of impulse control and mood disorders
  • Teen brain's are more vulnerable to long-lasting addictions when exposed to addictive substances.

Parking Restrictions at the Middle School

Attention to all students. If you drive to school, please make sure you park in the High School student parking lot for the entire day. You will need to walk to any of your classes that are held at the middle school. No parking is allowed at the middle school for high school students.

Pictures of license plates will be taken and tickets will be issued for students who park their cars at the middle school.

Attendance Matters

Attendance is absolutely critical to success in school. Let's work toward a goal of 100% attendance.

After 3:30pm on School Days

A friendly reminder that no students should be in flex spaces and hallways after 3:30. If you have someone picking you up, please wait down stairs in the Commons.

Also, please no food or drinks in the flex spaces with the exception of water only

Food To Go

Anacortes Food to Go - If you are hungry and need food over the weekends. You can get free food through Food to Go Anacortes.

This is a weekend backpack food program for Anacortes students. If you are in need, please contact Food to Go - (360) 708-3037 or ftgAnacortes@gmail.com

Lost & Found Small Valuable Items

If you have lost any small valuable items, please check the main office

If you have lost any bigger items such as clothing, water bottles, etc please check under stairs

These items will all be taken away soon and donated so please check if you are missing anything

Visitor Check-In

It’s a new school year and everyone will have to check in. In order to better protect our students, visitors and staff, all visitors will be required to show a valid government-issued ID

Umbrellas Available

Attention Students - umbrellas are available for use going to and from middle school when it's raining. If you take an umbrella, please bring it back with you upon returning to the high school. Umbrellas are in bins located in the main entrance
